On National Skipping Day on April 24, 2021, the school promoted this special event with a whole-school skipping workshop. Raising awareness of this simple, but sometimes forgotten activity, was extremely popular with the children and their enthusiasm meant that over 90 ropes were purchased after school for home use. Our local constitute MP (Jonathan Gullis) was even on hand to showcase his skills! 

For the rest of the academic year and throughout school now, skipping games are regularly seen on the playground, often led by passionate skipping ambassadors who were selected for their love for the activity.
